We are happy to give free access to our entire archive to members of the media looking to license our footage. You will be able to preview each clip and download it immediately for broadcast or online use. X17 offers this amazing new delivery-on-demand site in hopes of better serving our clients in an industry where timing is everything and deadlines are always pressing.

Simply fill out the registration form [to start the process] and your request will be answered usually within 24 hours. We require that you provide your company email address so that we can verify your employment. We will also capture your computer’s IP address or your network’s IP range for security purposes. With access to our archive, you’ll be able to download various compressions for each clip: MPEG2 (for TV broadcast); H264 (for TV or online use); and Flash (for online use).

An X17 associate will be available during US business hours through our “Live Chat” option once you log in. We will be able to help facilitate downloads, answer your technical questions, answer questions about the video content, aid with searches, and most anything else you can come up with!

At the time of registration for the site, rates will be negotiated and you will be assigned a rate card of three different price levels: A, B, and C. Each clip featured on the site will be have a price level designation.

If there is a download made on your account, you will be charged automatically your rate at that price level. If you make a download in error, please email X17@X17video.com immediately.

NOTE FOR U.S. CLIENTS ONLY: For clients in the United States, license fees for new clips must be negotiated the week of a clip’s post on the site. As the clip becomes “archive,” it will be available at your company’s negotiated rates.

Fine print: Sharing of your login with anyone outside of your company and password will result in an immediate cancellation of your account.
